Tyler Jensen joined forces with Eric in Visser Construction and partnered to start Lois Point Development Group in 2016. He was born in Anchorage in 1989, but was raised in Alaska, Wyoming, and Colorado before returning home in 2013. Tyler is the first generation to be in construction in his family, he has supportive parents helping progress his aspiration of custom home building in Alaska.

 

He is an avid hunter and fisherman. He prides himself on his dedication and love of the sports. His two greatest moments in life were when he obtained his first Dall Sheep and the sale and completion of Visser Construction’s first condo building. From these fruits of labor, dedication, and persistence Tyler learned if you put in the effort, rewards will follow. He applies this every day on the job site.

 

Tyler’s precision, attention to detail, and team camaraderie came from his educational experiences. He always enjoyed math and history in middle and high school, but his true love was the sportsmanship of baseball. This carried on through to college where Tyler had an academic and baseball scholarships and was on the dean’s list many times. Graduating with a bachelor’s in applied technology and a minor in Math. He continues to still stay active in the sports world and has enjoyed playing softball in Alaska today.

 

All these experiences have enforced his work ethic, helped build business relationships, form lifelong friendships, and has furthered his knowledge and personal growth. Tyler understands if you do it right and have a good crew your end product will speak for itself. He can’t wait to see where the future takes him with custom home building in Alaska.
